The screen goes blank as the computer shuts down. It was a long day at work. You stand and feel the stiffness in your legs. Your eyes are sore from staring at the Screen. Your lower back aches from sitting too long. Your shoulders feel the rust of a day of hunching at your keyboard. Blunt force trauma to the soul, the body as a casualty.

But as you rise from your chair, you feel a dull satisfaction. It’s all behind you, at least for now. Untethered by responsibility, you know exactly what you’re going to do.

You turn back to the computer.

You sit back down.

You turn it back on.

You stare for hours.

This EP was an attempt to fight off the contradiction of living in the Screen during both working and creative time. Intended primarily for live performance, these tracks contain themes regarding the (often futile) fight against the domination of the Screen of our personal and professional lives.
